Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground turkey, sage, thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Mix until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the turkey. Avoid overmixing.
  3. Divide the mixture into 6-8 equal portions and form them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Place the patties in the hot skillet and cook for 4-6 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately or store for later.
