A fresh and healthy Caesar salad featuring flaked tuna and nutrient-rich kale, tossed in a creamy dressing.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (5 ounce) can tuna in water, drained and flaked
  • 1 bunch kale, tough stems removed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup croutons
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped kale and Caesar dressing. Massage the dressing into the kale with your hands for 1-2 minutes until the kale softens.
  2. Add the flaked tuna, Parmesan cheese, and croutons to the bowl.
  3. Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a homemade Caesar dressing, whisk together 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • You can add other vegetables like cherry tomatoes, cucumber, or red onion for extra flavor and crunch.
  • Grilled chicken or chickpeas can be substituted for tuna if preferred.
