- 1 lb ground turkey
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp ginger minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves chopped

- Stir in minced garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce over the turkey mixture and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil leaves until wilted.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra vegetables, add sliced bell peppers or green beans with the turkey.
- Adjust the red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
