- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add steak pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook steak bites for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
- Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for 2 minutes until sticky.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use a hot pan for a better sear.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Serve with rice or as an appetizer.
