- 1 lb (450g) steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 orange (juiced and zested)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Pat the steak dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and rosemary, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove steak and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle with orange juice and zest before serving.
Notes
- Let the steak rest to retain juices.
- Use a meat thermometer for preferred doneness.
- Fresh rosemary works best, but dried can be substituted.
