Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook the beef for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers for 4-5 minutes until soft.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and mix with the vegetables.
  6. Butter the hoagie rolls and toast them lightly.
  7. Divide the beef and vegetable mixture among the rolls.
  8. Top each sandwich with a slice of provolone cheese.
  9. Serve warm.
