This S’mores Pie recipe lets you enjoy the classic campfire treat without the campfire. It features a graham cracker crust, a rich chocolate filling, and a fluffy toasted marshmallow topping.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Stir in melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and set aside to cool slightly.
  4. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and 2 tablespoons butter. Cook, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled graham cracker crust.
  6. Arrange the miniature marshmallows evenly over the chocolate filling.
  7. Return the pie to the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are lightly golden brown and puffed. Alternatively, you can use a kitchen torch to toast the marshmallows until golden.
  8. Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For an extra decadent pie, use a mix of milk chocolate and dark chocolate chips for the filling.
  • If you don’t have miniature marshmallows, you can use larger marshmallows cut into smaller pieces.
  • The pie can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Let it come to room temperature before serving for the best texture.
  • You can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the toasted marshmallows for a sweet and salty twist.
