- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into meatballs and place in the slow cooker.
- Pour beef broth over the meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Mix cornstarch and water, stir into the slow cooker to thicken the gravy.
- Cook for an additional 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brown the meatballs in a skillet before slow cooking.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
