- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
- For the topping: 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp cold butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add pumpkin puree, vanilla, and milk.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet.
- Make the topping by mixing flour, sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Sprinkle over cookies.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool before serving.

- Use fresh pumpkin puree for best flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
