- 400g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 400g pasta
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrot, celery, and garlic. Cook until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, canned tomatoes, beef stock, red wine, oregano, and bay leaf.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Drain pasta and mix with the sauce.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
