Ingredients

- 2 steaks (about 8 oz each)
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the steaks on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add sliced onions. Cook until caramelized.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir to combine.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
- Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the gravy over them. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- Use a cast-iron skillet for even heat distribution.
- Adjust the thickness of the gravy by adding more or less broth.
- Pair with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
