- 12 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into thin strips
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add steak strips and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
- Add uncooked pasta and simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Return steak to the pot and stir in parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
