Ingredients

  • 12 oz steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into thin strips
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak strips and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour in broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
  6. Add uncooked pasta and simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  7. Return steak to the pot and stir in parmesan cheese.
  8. Garnish with parsley before serving.
