Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
  4. Scoop dough into balls. Flatten each, add 1 tsp Nutella, then seal dough around it.
  5. Place cookies on baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Let cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Chill dough for 30 minutes for easier handling.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
