- 2 ahi tuna steaks (6 oz each)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the tuna from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic.
- Cook the garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the tuna to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over the steaks.
- Cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh ahi tuna for the best flavor.
- Do not overcook the tuna to keep it tender.
- Pair with a side of steamed vegetables or rice.
