- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz) container sour cream
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1 (8 oz) package shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 oz) package shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown ground beef and sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to the meat mixture and stir well.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and half of the shredded cheeses.
- Combine the meat mixture with the cheese mixture and spread into a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey instead of beef for a lighter version.
- Adjust the amount of green chilies based on your spice preference.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
