Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until golden (5-6 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to the pan and coat with sauce.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve.
