- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat in flour.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until golden (5-6 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return chicken to the pan and coat with sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
