Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into a lined 8×8-inch pan.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  4. Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in lemon juice and zest.
  6. Pour filling over crust and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours before slicing.

  • Use room-temperature cream cheese for smoother filling.
