- 1.5 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, honey, lime juice, and black pepper.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours.
- Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Remove steak from the marinade and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

- For extra tenderness, marinate overnight.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain for the best texture.
