- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Melt butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear for 3 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add rice and stir for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Cover and bake for 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
- Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts.
