Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Melt butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear for 3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add rice and stir for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet. Cover and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
  • Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts.
