Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add honey and stir to combine. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and coat with the honey garlic sauce.
  7. For the mac & cheese, melt butter in a pot over low heat. Add milk and cheese, stirring until smooth.
  8. Mix in cooked macaroni until well coated.
  9. Serve chicken over mac & cheese.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the honey garlic sauce.
  • Substitute cheddar with mozzarella for a milder taste.
  • Use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option.
