This ground turkey stir-fry is a quick and flavorful meal. It features lean ground turkey, fresh vegetables, and a savory sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in onion and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  6. Pour the sauce over the turkey and vegetables. Stir to coat everything evenly.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  8. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

  • You can customize the vegetables based on what you have on hand.
  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
  • For a thicker sauce, you can mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and add it to the sauce mixture.
