- 2 ahi tuna steaks (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper.
- Sear tuna for 1-2 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove tuna and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add lemon juice and parsley, stir well.
- Pour garlic butter sauce over tuna.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh ahi tuna for best results.
- Do not overcook the tuna to keep it tender.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
