Ingredients

  • 2 ahi tuna steaks (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear tuna for 1-2 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove tuna and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  6. Add lemon juice and parsley, stir well.
  7. Pour garlic butter sauce over tuna.
  8. Serve immediately.
