  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 round bread loaves (for bowls)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
  4. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Cut the tops off the bread loaves and hollow them out.
  7. Fill each bread bowl with chili and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
