Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup pasta water (reserved)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until soft.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water. Mix well until creamy.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use any pasta shape you prefer.
  • Substitute with ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
