- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup pasta water (reserved)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until soft.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water. Mix well until creamy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
- Substitute with ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
