- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Whisk until well blended.
- Place steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
- Pour marinade over the steak, coating evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours.
- Remove steak from marinade and discard excess.
- Cook steak as desired (grill or pan-sear).
- Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Marinate for deeper flavor but no longer than 4 hours to avoid texture changes.
- Works best with ribeye, sirloin, or New York strip steaks.
