- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Heat vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Pat cod fillets dry and sear for 2 minutes per side.
- Pour the glaze over the cod and transfer the skillet to the oven.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion before serving.

- Use fresh ginger for the best flavor.
- Adjust honey to taste for sweetness.
- Serve with steamed rice and vegetables.
