- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Use jasmine or basmati rice for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
