Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in rice, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove cover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
  • Use jasmine or basmati rice for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
