Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 head butter lettuce
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground chicken, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in water chestnuts, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes until flavors blend.
  6. Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves.
  7. Garnish with green onions.
