A simple and delicious slow-cooked chicken tortellini dish perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the CrockPot.
  2. Add marinara sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Shred chicken with two forks.
  5. Add tortellini and stir to combine.
  6. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen tortellini.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
