A simple and delicious slow-cooked chicken dish with rich gravy, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet (0.87 oz) dry chicken gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, dry gravy mix, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with a fork and stir into the gravy.
  6. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

Notes

  • For a thicker gravy, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
