- 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, beaten egg, chopped onion, parsley, lemon juice, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is combined.
- Form the mixture into 6-8 patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the patties in the hot skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of garlic powder or a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor.
- These patties can be served on a bun like a burger, or alongside a salad.
- Leftover patties can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
