- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Soak chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Coat each piece of chicken evenly with the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C.
- Fry chicken in batches for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature reaches 75°C.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
