- 4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place cod fillets on the baking sheet and press the breadcrumb mixture onto each fillet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until the fish flakes easily and the topping is golden.
- Squeeze lemon wedges over the cod and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

- Use fresh breadcrumbs for better texture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
