A simple and creamy ranch chicken dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners. Tender chicken breasts are smothered in a rich, flavorful ranch sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with black pepper and garlic powder, then cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk together sour cream, ranch seasoning, and chicken broth until smooth.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 5-6 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, stir in 1/4 cup heavy cream.
  • Serve over rice, pasta, or with a side of steamed vegetables.
