- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and brown chicken for 4 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add rice, chicken broth, and cream. Stir well.
- Place chicken back in the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- Use long-grain rice for best texture.
