Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
  4. In a large bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Fold in whipped topping.
  6. Pour filling into the cooled crust.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  8. In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering. Remove from heat and stir in chopped semi-sweet chocolate until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
  9. Pour ganache over the top of the pie.
  10. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes, or until ganache is set.
