- 12 oz chicken sausage, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes until softened.
- Stir in orzo and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 8 minutes.
- Add broccoli, cover, and cook for 3 more minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
