  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add onion and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in orzo and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 8 minutes.
  7. Add broccoli, cover, and cook for 3 more minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
