Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain fat.
- Mix all ingredients except cheese in a large bowl.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, bake 15 more minutes.
- Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Add diced onions or peppers for extra flavor.
- Leftovers keep well refrigerated for 3 days.
