Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain fat.
  3. Mix all ingredients except cheese in a large bowl.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, bake 15 more minutes.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • Add diced onions or peppers for extra flavor.
