- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups frozen hashbrowns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.
- Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream and milk. Stir in hashbrowns and beef mixture.
- Transfer to a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Use thawed hashbrowns for faster cooking.
- Add diced bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
