  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef until browned.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for another 15 minutes.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
