Ingredients

  • 200g mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the mozzarella cheese into sticks, about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each cheese stick into flour, then beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the cheese sticks until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, double-coat the cheese sticks by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
  • Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
