- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp chai spice mix
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, chai spices, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add milk, melted butter, and egg to dry ingredients. Stir until combined.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread softened butter over dough and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll dough tightly and cut into 8 pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a chai tea bag to the milk before heating.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in microwave for 15 seconds before serving.
