Ingredients

  • 45 slices of red onion
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Slice the Italian sub roll lengthwise, leaving one side connected.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side and mustard on the other.
  3. Layer the salami, ham, and pepperoni evenly on the bottom half.
  4. Place the provolone cheese on top of the meats.
  5. Add lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the vegetables.
  7. Close the sandwich and brush the outside with olive oil.
  8. Heat a panini press or skillet over medium heat.
  9. Toast the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cheese melts.
  10. Slice in half and serve warm.
