- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape into 4 oval patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add sliced onions to the same skillet. Cook until softened.
- Whisk cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Add to skillet with beef broth. Stir until thickened.
- Return patties to skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for best results.
- Let patties rest before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
