These baked turkey meatballs are a healthy and flavorful addition to any meal. They are easy to prepare and versatile, perfect for serving with pasta, in a sandwich, or as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, do not overmix.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or side dish.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • These meatballs can be frozen for up to 3 months. Freeze on a baking sheet until solid, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag.
