Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, and chili powder.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

- For a spicier chili, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
