  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and sautรฉ until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger paste, stir for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken cubes and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  6. Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Mix in heavy cream and yogurt, simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper for desired spice level.
  • Serve with rice or naan bread.
  • For a thicker sauce, simmer longer.
