Ingredients

  • 6 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh berries (optional)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange torn croissant pieces in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the mixture over the croissants, pressing them down to soak.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden and set.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
  9. Top with fresh berries and maple syrup if desired.
