- 4 cups whole milk

- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed.
- Stir in milk, sugar, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thick (about 20-25 minutes).
- Remove from heat and mix in vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and raisins (if using).
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, stir in an extra 1/4 cup of milk if needed.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
