- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Add milk and mix until combined.
- Shape into 1.5-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown meatballs for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot with pasta, sauce, or as desired.
Notes
- For extra tenderness, use a mix of beef and pork.
- Don’t overmix the meat to keep it tender.
- Let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
